About this deal

While I would love to see Antler make even more moves towards sustainability in the form of, for example, cases made from recycled materials, this is certainly a great step towards being a responsible travel brand.

There’s nothing more embarrassing than turning up for your holiday with a suitcase that’s clearly several years old, battered and bruised. Beautifully packaged, our Clifton cases come with a dust bag, and each size nests inside the next one up for easy storage. SECURE TRAVELS: Safeguard your belongings with the integrated TSA-approved locks on this lightweight suitcase. My only disappointment was the fact that the black polycarbonate shell scratched fairly easily, so after being thrown around on luggage carousels, my case was subject to a few white marks. In my opinion, when you’ve got large, heavy suitcases they absolutely have to have four spinner wheels that will easily twist in all directions. I packed in four outfits, a rainjacket, my converse, my toiletries bag, laptop, and camera (as well as a few other bits and bobs) and it all fit in nicely! Each case comes with instructions for how to set your own code and operate the locks – or there are videos online as well. To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average.

To try out my new Antler luggage in real life, I took the medium-sized case with me on a week-long trip to Edinburgh and East Lothian in Scotland. With its smooth-rolling wheels, twist-grip handle, and TSA-Approved locks for enhanced security, this small suitcase with wheels offers everything you need for a seamless travel experience.ABOUT ANTLER: Leader in our industry, we have been making quality luggage since 1914, ensuring our experience and expertise are passed down through generations. Since you’re essentially living out of your case for the duration of any trip, size is really important. From house to car to airport to plane and then through the city, this nifty little case didn’t once feel uncomfortable to manoeuvre.

These cases are about as lightweight as possible for hard shell luggage – so they don’t take up too much of that precious luggage allowance. The handle features two buttons which need to be pressed to compress it, which was slightly fiddly when bundling into a taxi, but honestly, that was my only tripe. My suitcase arrived wrapped in a sleek, grey dust bag which was such a nice touch – and my first impression upon lifting it out of the box was how lightweight it was. There’s a small cabin sized case for weekend breaks, a medium sized one for a week away, and a large suitcase for when you need to take everything including the kitchen sink. It already weighs 5 kg empty, so if you fill it, I’m pretty sure it will be too heavy for most airlines’ 23 kg luggage allowance.

When I’m travelling with just a cabin case, I’ll also have a small handbag, backpack, laptop bag or briefcase for all my personal items I’d like to remove during the flight, so it’s not too much of an issue. I took the cabin suitcase on my recent long weekend in St Ives and for an overnight stay at my favourite glamping lodges in Dartmoor. If you want added peace of mind on your travels, look out for styles with built-in locks to keep your possessions secure. SECURE AND SMART: Safeguard your belongings with the integrated TSA-approved locks on this set of lightweight suitcases. Inside was a Russian doll of three suitcases, each one neatly stacked inside the next and protected with a white cloth bag.
