About this deal

You will not need to leave the colour on for the total time it says as your hair has been through a lot and its going to grab the colour! Is there any reason why this woudn't work with decolour remover, too, as an alternative to the two 'towel dry' stages? Hi, I’m wondering if you can help, I have been dying my hair black/red for about 4 yrs now but recently done it a dark brown/red so it did go ever so slightly lighter, but now I have decided with 2 small children I can’t be bothered to dye my hair anymore and want it back to my natural colour, I used this product today (the extra strength one) and followed the instructions to the dot. Hi, I had vibrant red and also had intense plum on my hair, i used the ‘Colour B4’ extra strength then put a semi permanent ‘Boots’ lightest blonde ontop, (couldnt find any ash blonde dye) it has given me a lovely gingery brown, which i am happy about but i want to colour my hair with a permanent light brown, it is the nearest colour i can get to my mousey blonde, how long would you advise to leave it before putting a permanent ontop?

You see I’m really lazy I will put box dye red over box dye red and use different colour reds and so forth.

Did another application, the same again, hair looked like it was turning ginger, and then, rinse, buffer, rinse again, magic, hair goes that strange darker browny ginger. If however you want to recolour all of it by all means do, but check it at regular intervals, just scrape a little colour away from the hair with your nail and have a look at the colour to see if its right for you. I would suggest using the extra stength one to strip the red out, it does work but you will end up slightly ginger. I did find it dried out a bit but probably because I didn’t use conditioner incase I wanted to do it again.

I’d definitely recommend giving it a go if you’re stuck trying to get your old hair colourant out ( just read the instructions first as it won’t work if you’ve dyed your hair using certain dyes or if you’ve used an excessive amount of heat on your hair). If you live in an apartment complex, please check with the front office to see if it was received by them. Please do not cut time on what they recommend to wash it out for, if it says 10 minutes, wash it for 11!

What’s more Colour B4 does not touch your natural hair pigment so you are left with the colour which lay beneath your artificial shade. I'd definitely recommend it for anyone wanting to remove any colour build up or to change hair colour altogether, as it's so affordable to do yourself at home. There's also an extra strength formula available which is for stronger, darker colours such as red or black.I am currently embarking on a truly exciting adventure…I’m attempting to dye my hair from brown to blonde at home.
